Description:

Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic (anti-parasitic) medication used to eliminate various parasitic worms and infections in humans. It works by disrupting the energy metabolism of parasites, ultimately causing their death and removal from the body.

Use Cases & Indications:

Albendazole is commonly prescribed for treating intestinal and systemic parasitic infections, including:

Adults & Children over 6 years: 400mg twice daily for 28 days, followed by a 14-day break, repeated for 3 cycles.

400mg twice daily for 3 days.

For Giardia (Off-label use in Children):
